Mornings go a little something like this...
1/2 Banana
1 handful of kale
1 handful of spinach
a couple berries (usually strawberries or raspberries)
1 cup almond milk (see recipe here)
2-3 Tablespoons of chia seeds

I've developed some morning rituals over the past few years. Making daily green smoothie is one of them. It's fast food - but the kind that actually nourishes your body instead of slowing it down. Spinach and 1/2 a banana are my standard base and occasionally I'll mix up the fruit (berries) and superfoods (chia, kale, avocado etc.)
Salads have never been appealing to me, so this one of the ways I treat my body to those leafy greens, nutrients, and antioxidants to fuel my day.
